About Dominic
Meet the marvelous Dominic, often called Dom! This handsome 8-month-old is all set for his journey to a new family. With his medium-length, exquisitely soft coat, Dominic makes the perfect indoor cat, instantly bonding with others and bringing a loving atmosphere into the home.
At first, Dominic may be a little shy, but with a bit of patience and a gentle touch, he slowly lets his guard down. Once he grows comfortable and finds his trust in you, he reveals himself to be a beautiful, gentle, and loving boy. He is a natural companion to other kittens and cats, often assuming the role of a protective big brother to younger ones.
Underneath the shy exterior is an incredibly sweet soul. He takes joy in the simple things, like naps in the sunniest spots and hours of play with toys. But perhaps his favourite thing in the world is to curl up beside someone who loves him, purring happily away. Most importantly, Dominic gets along great with dogs.
Dominic is an indoor cat, ideally suited to a home with a cat enclosure. He has been microchipped, desexed, toilet trained, tattooed, and has received his first vaccination. He is quite the well-rounded companion.
We recommend socializing Dominic slowly to improve his confidence. He would appreciate a calm environment filled with warmth, understanding, and patience, where he can thrive for the rest of his days.
Dominic is fostered in Salisbury North with Tania. If you think you might be the loving forever home he's looking for, please arrange an appointment to meet him. We assure you, once you meet him, you will be captivated by his charm and touched by his loving nature.
Adoption details
To adopt a cat or kitten please send an email to hayleybarton@live.com to arrange a suitable time for a meet and greet or come to our Adoption Event which is on the 2nd weekend at Pet Barn Melrose Park from 11am to 3pm and on the last weekend of the month at Pet Barn Noarlunga from 11am to 3pm
Once adopted you will have a two week settling in period before the adoption is finalised. As a rescue we would like our cats to be kept inside only or have access to a secure outdoor enclosure/run.
We have a program called Foster to adopt a timid kitty. this is for our shy Cats that need a chance. We give you 6 months with the cat and in that time if you decide to adopt , then the cost of the cat is the price of transferring the micro chip.We will advise which cats are in this program.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
