About Domino
Domino is one of our Point Cook colony cats. As an ex street cat, he is timid with strangers to begin with. He will hiss softly, but he is all talk, and once you let him sniff your hand, he will gleefully accept head and chin scratches. He does not have a mean bone in his body, not even when he goes to the vet for vaccination, or when he has a worming tablet forced down his throat.
As the oldest male of the colony, we think Domino fathered most of the 31 cats that were rescued, and was likely an abandoned pet. Humans have let him down and we want to find a wonderful home to mend his broken heart.
Domino is sweet, gentle, and loving to both humans and fellow felines. He needs a few moments to get familiar and let his guard down, and then he becomes a soft marshmallow. We know he is meant to be a lap cat, since out of all the colony cats, there are very few who will allow themselves to be picked up for a cuddle, but Domino is one such kitty.
Domino uses his beautiful green eyes to look deep into your soul and we think this is how he is able to quickly assess the character of people let his guard down when friendly cat-lovers come to visit. He will provide many years of love and loyalty to his future human/s.
