If you’re looking for your new best friend, Jim’s your guy!

Jim will make you fall in love- he has such a fun personality and is guaranteed to make you laugh with his goofy smile and uncoordinated movements. All he wants to do is cuddle, receive head scratches and run around.

Jim previously lived with female dogs, and is currently living with a 2.5 year old American staffy x female. He can be a bit selective with the dogs he gets along with and would need to be tested with any potential dog housemates. If he was to have a dog housemate, he would likely do best with a female dog.

He would suit a home that is happy to take him on lead walks, or to an enclosed area without other dogs around. His recall is quite good, though when there are swallows around they are the only things he will pay attention to. Jim’s foster parents also have small budgies & pet rats, which don’t seem to phase him.

His foster parents have been training with him and he’s been a very quick learner and a good listener. He’s easy to walk, aside from when he decides to randomly flop on the ground and roll on his back.

Jim loves to be around his humans and would be best suited to a home where his family would be around most of the time. He can be a bit on guard around new people in his home, but once he knows you're safe he will be the biggest love bug.

Jim is a pretty chill & quiet guy for the most part, he just wants to lay next to you on the couch and have some cuddle time. He may bark if he hears a stranger coming up to the house, but not much more than that.

He has had some arthritis due to his age, and some stomach issues, but with the right diet he seems to be fine.
