About Margot
*In foster care in Manly, Sydney*
Margot is the sweetest little lady who has truly stolen her foster carers' hearts in just one week! Initially shy as she settled in, she's now strutting her stuff around their apartment :)
Her top two activities are exploring nooks and crannies and chasing her tail, and she gets the zoomies at least three times day. While she's still a bit wary of loud noises, she's adapting well to her new environment and has even claimed the middle of the bed for her nightly snuggles!
Like all Maggie's pets, Margot is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll thrive in a loving home where I can continue to gain in confidence without pressure. I enjoy being around people and would appreciate gentle guidance and plenty of affection!
I love being stroked, and I don't mind being held, but I will need patience and some space for when I feel the need to retreat. Never fear, though - I'll be trotting happily by your side, playing and meowing for pats in no time!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: In many ways I'm still a kitten! I love high-speed zoomies, and the scratching post is my OG favourite plaything - and I'm also famous in my foster home for jumping in the air to catch my toys! But I also appreciate cosy snuggles on the sofa or in the (dirty) washing pile :) I'll do well with daily interactive play sessions to keep me entertained and content.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Older children (5+) who are respectful and will let me come to them, rather than forcing me to engage, will be my perfect match. While I'm friendly and playful, I do take some time to relax and feel safe. I still get a bit nervous when my 6'3" foster dad stands up from the sofa (I'm only little, after all!).
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Though I haven't met any other pets yet, I think I could potentially get along with other nice cats or cat-friendly dogs if we take it slow and you let me get used to them at my own pace.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
