About Mila
Introducing Mila, a golden-apricot groodle, possessing an enthusiastic spirit and playful heart. This goofy, loving, and playful companion is a charmer known for her easygoing personality and incredibly soft, fluffy coat, which gracefully changes from gold to apricot in different lights. Her honey-hazel eyes bear an ever-curious look, and her curled tail is a sight to behold, beautifully harmonizing with her whole body when she wags it!
As an affectionate and active dog, Mila loves good food, plays with toys diligently, and enjoys ball-chasing and bird-watching as her favourite pastimes. In the rare moments she's not on a sniffing adventure, you may find Mila curled up in front of a good TV show, fully engrossed in the plot.
While a lover of fun, Mila has a list of 'not-so-favourite' things too. She's not a fan of water, may it be the sea, rain, or even a bath. Loud noises can make her uncomfortable, and she appreciates a few soothing words of reassurance during such times. Similarly, Mila isn't fond of enclosed, narrow spaces, so crates won't be an ideal resting spot for her.
Mila’s favourite spot in the house would be anywhere quiet, near her bed and toys. She immensely enjoys an environment that allows her freedom to roam and appreciate her surroundings. She is a friendly and loving companion, always ready for a snuggle session when the mood strikes her.
Mila loves interacting with children outdoors, and while there aren’t kids at home, she has shown no negative tendencies in their company. Her interaction with other pets, especially dogs, is harmonious, she loves playing and cuddling with her foster sister Mimi.
In her foster home, Mila has grown from a timid, untrained pup to a sociable and obedient dog who responds well to basic commands. She would love a home that will continue to train her using positive reinforcement.
Mila's ideal environment would be a home where she is free to roam indoors and outdoors without restrictions. She will flourish in a setting with a backyard where she can revel in her playful instincts. Access to the outdoors for walks and excursions, especially if it includes a beach visit, would be a cherry on top.
Eager to bring some sweetness into your life with Mila? Currently located in Brighton Le-Sands, this healthy and vibrant one-year-old is ready to meet her new family. Rest assured, Mila is set to bring a dash of adventure, lots of snuggles, and whole-hearted love to your home.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
