Imagine, just going about your day being a kitten, doing kitten things. Snuggling, eating, zoomies, chasing dust bunnies. Along come your people. The ones your mumma smooches. The ones who have been feeding you. They pop you in a box and you head off on an adventure.

And then they throw you out the window of the car on a busy road while doing 90km an hour.

Yep, true story.

Some people don’t like cats. Understood. We think those people definitely shouldn’t get a cat. That doesn’t excuse waking up and planning, and executing, unnecessary cruelty.

The end result of this horrific story is Toyo and Pirelli (it gets hard to be involved with these horror stories all the time and a little bit of dark humour can go a long way!) These little survivors (thanks South Hedland Vets) are doing amazingly well and have just entered foster care. They have obviously been raised in a family home and are accepting of the Junior SAFErs and coping well with the resident cats and puppy. Their appetites, and purrs, are returning and these little house panthers will be ready for the furrever home in no time.
