About Hera
Hera wants to find a special human she can love forever. She can be a little shy with new people, but once she gets to know you she's the sweetest purriest thing ever.
She loves to hang around you. If you work from home she'll volunteer to do some of your typing for you (no guarantee on quality of output), act as a handy paperweight, or keep your lap warm.
She's a great smoocher and gives lovely kisses the people she loves.
She's great with other cats and the dogs. She happy to run around and play with the other resident foster cats and the dogs in her foster house don't bother her at all.
If Hera sounds like she could be your life companion, then get in touch. One day she will be the love of someone's life.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
