About Blu STA012476
Say hello to Blu! Blu is a serene and reserved guy, living up to his name as a "Tru Blu" bloke. Quiet and introspective, Blu is the perfect companion to those who appreciate the joys of a layback Aussie lifestyle and share his love for a calm and peaceful environment.
As a minimalist at heart, Blu appreciates the simpler things in life. He doesn't need all the bells and whistles; he's simply looking for his own quiet corner of the world where he can bask in the glow of a loving human's company.
Blu's ideal home is warm, relaxing and free from the hustle and bustle of other pets and children. Blu does carry FIV+, which means he needs to reside indoors to keep him healthy and safe. Blu has shown himself to be quite the gentleman indoors, respecting his surroundings and keeping his living space clean and orderly.
Blu has a calm and peaceful demeanor and would do best in a household that mirrors these traits. He may not be the life of the party, but his easygoing nature and uncomplicated needs make him the perfect companion for those seeking a laid-back and gentle friend.
Whether you're reading a book, relaxing in front of the TV, or just enjoying a peaceful moment, Blu will be there by your side, always content in your presence. If you have a soft spot for the quiet ones, Blu may just capture your heart.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
