About Rubble
Hey you! Yep you – don’t scroll past – if you’re looking for a goofy fun loving guy – I’m it!!
I am a young fun loving cheeky boy who at 4 years and 1 month old is ready to take on the world!
I am a Cavalier King Charles
So my foster mum said I have to tell you all about myself, okay let’s see
I am a typical dog who just loves his humans and everything i do is a twinkle in my eye and a smile on my lips - life is so much fun!
I came into a care with a crazy amount of energy but my foster mum has worked so hard on my walking and also my fitness (when I went to her I was a bit tubby)
I was surrendered as my breeder was no longer able to keep as many dogs as she had so the rescue has said yep we can help and made sure I got all my vet work completed.
I did come into care needing to go over some of my manners which my foster mum has been working on - I am a really good boy but I do like to do things with some energy and a smile.
I think I am just divine and smart as a whip who loves a cuddle in the morning and a good walk - I love to go on a walk daily and love to sniff and check things out!
I spend my days alternating between being inside and outside, playing and snoozing. My motto is to play hard but then sleep even harder!
I used to live with other dogs as a breeding dog but didn't have a lot of great socialisation with them. So when I meet another dog it can really go either way - for that reason the rescue thinks I would be best as an only dog or someone who is really willing to put the work into me and work with my socialisation.
I will also require a home where there is some space to run around and play outside, a family that will incorporate me into their lifestyle and be active with me.
At home the puppy in me comes out and mum says something about my eyelashes will distract me…. At least I’m happy and goofy enough for you to laugh at my antics!
I knows my basic commands of sit, lay down, recall and how to sit and wait for dinner most of the time - hee hee
I loves my food so very helpful with training as I am very food motivated (lessons means treat!)
I currently weigh 11.1kgs
I am not tested with cats and again this really could go either way - so we will say no cats at the home for the safe side.
I am good with kids but can get excited and jump up on them but it's only to get closer to say hi to them!
I have a coat that does require grooming. I will need grooms so that my coat stays looking good & not matted (especially at my ears) so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense.
So if you think you’re the home for me please apply – my goofy love will be endless

Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
