About Dubh
MOTHERS TURN - MORE PHOTOS TO COME OF OUR CAMERA SHY LADY
HC2931 Dubh
One Friday night - at almost 11pm - we had a call of a mother cat giving birth under a residents car. One of our volunteers raced over and retrieved Dubh (pronounced Dove) and her 2 babies Lorcan (adopted) and Caoimhe (adopted). Just a baby herself - Dubh was unsure about this new foster home, carer and her 2 new babies.
Dubh is described as very quiet, reserved, and as a very young mumma, did the best she could with feeding and raising her babies. Dubh has been desexed, chipped, vaccinated annd wormed. She never need to raise babies again - instead enjoy a life as a solo kitty without 2 rugrats tagging along.
As Dubh bids farewell to her babies - we hope to see her true personality shine as she is such a sweet and lovely little girl. She has now integrated with the resident cats and hasn’t shown to be bothered by them at all.
More photos to come of this special mumma - she is very camera shy. Please email Rachel if you would like to know more or arrange a meet and greet at hedland.cats@safe.org.au 🐾
