About Triton
Hello! Triton here. I am a beautiful black and tan kelpie pup, only 5 months old. I think I am practically perfect and my foster mum agrees. She says I am scrumptious. You might notice I only have 3 legs but that doesn’t hold me back.
I am very calm and friendly to everyone I meet. I love a good smooch with my humans. I am good with other dogs but my foster mum doesn’t let me play rough games with the other dogs too much. Something about protecting my other limbs and getting used to 3 legs.
I am very smart and know my name and am acing recall too. I am crate trained and will happily put myself in for a rest. I sleep all night in the crate and wait quietly until someone lets me out. I am house trained and will go to the door if I want to be let out for the toilet.
I’d love a family with another calm dog or people who are home most of the day. I will need moderate amounts of low impact exercise as well as plenty of mental stimulation. I learn quickly and would love to learn lots of tricks and commands.
If you have the perfect home for scrumptious Triton, apply now.
Note: Triton’s leg was amputated following a tangle with a farm fence that resulted in a badly broken back leg. He is coping very well as a tripawd but his new family will need to continue to help him adjust to life on 3 legs.
Triton is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
