About Thor
Please give a warm welcome to Thor, our resident superhero looking for an active loving family to match his zest for life! Thor, an inside and toilet-trained dog, has intelligence and energy in equal measure.
Thor has proven to be well-adjusted and even-tempered in a diverse range of home settings. He enjoys the company of fellow dogs, and previously harmoniously shared a home with an equally youthful and sizeable canine companion. However, a potential caveat for families with young kids: while Thor is great with individuals of all ages, he can sometimes misunderstand his size during playtime, which can result in bounding and jumping. Given that, we believe he would be a perfect match for a family with older kids (12+), especially if they are dog savvy.
Widening your family horizons to include this gem means guaranteed companionship during car rides, as Thor travels exceedingly well. He also knows several commands such as 'sit', 'paw', 'drop', and 'down'. You'll find him an enthusiastic participant during a game of fetch, and he walks nicely on a lead. He's not overly food motivated; rather, he thrives on an active, loving environment and company.
Thor is friendly yet can initially present as timid. However, his charming personality quickly shines through once he warms up. He seeks an equally sociable, confident, and active family who has a good understanding of his breed's trait. Thor would thrive with another similar sized, active female canine companion. However, he could also jive well with a male dog following a successful meet and greet.
So bring Thor into your heart and home and embrace the world of fun, play, and endless wagging tails! Brilliantly confident, engagingly forward, and ceaselessly sociable, Thor is ready to bring a touch of magic to his new family.
