About Cheech
Greetings, dear reader! My name is Cheech, a distinguished Brindle Staffy of a mere eight years old, although some may argue that I possess the wisdom and charm of a much older gentleman.
Ah, where to begin? Well, let's start with my favorite pastime-playing fetch with my beloved toys. Despite my mature age, I still have an insatiable zest for life and can often be found prancing around with boundless energy, much to the surprise of those who underestimate my vitality.
Ah, but do not mistake my playful demeanor for frivolity alone, for I am also a connoisseur of the finer things in life-cuddles, companionship, and the comforting presence of my cherished humans. Yes, nothing brings me greater joy than being by their side, whether it be embarking on thrilling explorations or simply basking in their warmth.
While I do enjoy the company of fellow canines on leisurely strolls, I must confess that I prefer the solitary bliss of a single-dog home. However, I am more than amenable to ambling alongside other pups during our walks, provided they are kept on a leash.
Ah, and let us not forget the importance of etiquette! Though I may be a seasoned gentleman, there is always room for refinement, particularly when it comes to my interactions with other dogs. With a bit of patient guidance and gentle training, I am certain I can learn the proper decorum befitting a canine of my stature.
In terms of my ideal companions, I find myself particularly fond of young humans over the age of ten. Their maturity and understanding complement my own, creating a harmonious bond that is both enduring and enriching.
So, there you have it, dear reader-a glimpse into the life and times of Cheech, the brindle Staffy with a youthful spirit and an old soul. If you seek a faithful companion to share in life's adventures, look no further, for I am here, ready to embark on our journey together.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
