About Sakura - 14 Week Old Pomeranian (Trial)
Howdy :^) I’m Sakura and I’m a confident, sassy little pocket rocket. I have a whole lot of personality rolled into this 2.3kg tiny body of mine. I’m cute and very fluffy, but please don’t think I’m a lazy lap dog, of course I love my cuddles but I’m not that boring. I’m smart, clearly adorable, I make everyone laugh at my antics, so I guess I’m funny, and I love to play with my 4 doggo siblings. Even though I’m physically the smallest of my pack I consider myself way bigger than them. I’m certainly faster and cheekier. I can go under them, over them, I get in their faces and kiss them, and puppy nip them all over and roll and wrestle with them which is my most favourite thing to do.
I love my food, I certainly love treats and I’m super spoilt here, I think my foster mum gives them to me so I don’t chew up anything I shouldn’t, being a puppy and all. I can use the doggy door to toilet outside but with all my playful activities I sometimes forget, or I don’t like going out in the rain (who does) or the dark (things go bump), so that’s when my foster mum steps in every hour on the hour (like clockwork mind you) to remind me it is toilet time and she leads all 5 of us outside with her, but I never see her go just saying, practice what you preach I say! Anyway back to me..
I love everyone and they love me, I’m a great visitor welcomer and I would make your life so much better, especially if you meet all my needs purfectly. Note I am small and black in colour so you won’t see me of a night and I do tend to get under ones feet, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
If you are wondering what Sakura means it means Cheery Blossom in Japanese I was named that because I am beautiful, radiant, delicate, instantly recognisable, and distinctive. :^)
That’s enough about me what about you!? In my new home I would like:
To be an inside dog ALWAYS. To be educated at puppy training school, possible agility because ide be AWESOME at it. A doggy door so I can continue my toilet training. Be walked every day and twice a day, it’s good for your health too! ;^) have lots of toys available to me. I would love a playmate or two, a single life would not suit me sorry! Be fed healthy meals of course. And lots of cuddles and kisses so a very affectionate human please, my foster mum covers me in kisses which I love very much. I would like someone home often who is willing and committed to giving me time and training who also understands all the needs of a puppy, especially how to handle me as I am very small.
Important - Your home needs a completely puppy proofed home inside and out. With no choke hazards down low, kids toys to chew, leads, power cords etc. The yard needs to be finished and secure with no gaps in fences or under gates, no pool fencing which I can easily slip through, no debris or building materials and closed in verandas.
*For safety and wellbeing of the pup your yard will need to be closely inspected by a DRN Volunteer and will need to be approved (or not approved) by 2 DRN Coordinators.
