Rastas is a sleek black kitten with mischief on his mind and playful, fun-loving nature. There is never a dull moment around this boy.

Rescued as a young kitten from a life of neglect, Rastas appreciates everything he is given. He wastes no time in celebrating life as young, healthy and active kitten.

Rastas is so grateful for a safe place to play, for soft words of kindness, for the food he eats and for being allowed to just be himself. Life is one big kitten party to him.

Rastas is flat out from the minute he wakes up until he runs out of energy and needs one of his many kitten naps of the day. He loves to explore everything (he has a fascination with getting in bags and cardboard boxes in particular) and he is always up to something.

This goofy boy is hyperaware of everything happening in his world at all times. Whatever anyone is doing Rastas wants to be a part of it.

Rastas needs plenty of room to zoom and run about. He would be great with an active family who want a kitty to be an important part of their lives. Rastas adores attention that anyone gives him, and he would be great with an active child/children who can spend time with him.

As he starts to wind down, Rastas loves to hop up on the lounge with you and settle in for some cuddles and kisses. He loves to touch noses with you to express his love. And your lap is his idea of heaven.

Rastas would also be fine in a house with another cat but he does tend to dominate so he would need to be the alpha as he grows into a cat. He has not been around dogs however given his flamboyant and outgoing nature he would likely settle in well with a small cat-friendly dog.

Rastas would not do well in a home where he is left alone for the majority of the time. Although he mostly sleeps during the day, Rastas needs plenty of interaction of an evening and on the weekends – and he is always so happy to see you! He is a social butterfly at heart and he gets so excited to be around you.

Rastas is utterly charming, a little black furry cyclone who is irresistible. If you want a kitty with loads of personality, this is your boy.
