About Barney
Barney is a beautiful two and a half year old boy, is SO amazingly gentle and his manners are just perfection.
Barney is the ultimate people pleaser. He’s shown to be very intelligent and his training could easily go to the next level with someone who could put in the time needed.
Barney has grown up with infant, toddler and school aged children and is remarkably gentle with them all. Barney can still be a little excitable and ‘bouncy’ but settles very quickly. He’s very gentle and friendly when meeting other dogs and has been off-leash and shows excellent recall as well as walking gently on the lead. Barney has been exposed to cats too.
Barney would benefit from a home who can provide daily mental stimulation and of course a daily walk/run would be essential for this working class breed. Barney has always had another resident dog living with him, so this would be preferable for his new furever home too.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
