About Bandit
Hi, I’m Bandit! I am a very affectionate Kelpie boy, born 12 August 2023 and I am full of love and energy. I am a working breed, so I love lots of exercise, play time and mental stimulation to keep me at my best.
I absolutely love treats and toys which makes training very fun for me. I know all the basic commands like sit, lie down, and stay. I even have pretty good recall! I could use some ongoing training to refine those skills.
I’ve been very happy at my foster house, being able to play with my foster brother. I would love for my furever home to have another confident dog there to show me how to be a good little brother!
I am still learning my inside manners, and like to be let outside often so I can go toilet. When my humans aren’t home, I like to take that as my time to chill out… although once they come home I am so excited to see them! At the end of the day, I would love to snuggle up to my family and show all the love I have to give!
⁃ My inside toilet training needs some mild work
⁃ I need leash training
⁃ I am definitely not good with chickens
⁃ I would benefit from the company of a confident older dog
⁃ I am very intelligent, and I'm easy to train with my food drive
⁃ I can be quite boisterous so would suit a family with larger kids if you have children
