About Wilson
Wilson!
Looking for family who love to play!
Hi my name is Wilson, I’m a 11 month old Jack Russell Terrier
Since coming into care I have had a few new fun experiences - I have learn to walk on a lead, and be around other animals - so much fun!!!!
I have loads of energy and require a family who have time for play and daily walks! I love to zoom around the backyard, play ball and have cuddles!
I am a food connoisseur, I don't like dog food, I prefer a chicken neck for breakfast and fresh meat raw or cooked for dinner, I love yummy food that the humans eat!
I like to sleep on the couch and watch the front door at night and wait patiently for the humans to wake. Then I like to explore the yard and my humans throws a ball and has a little play before I settle for my morning nap.
Loud noises and window reflections do make me nervous and scared but I am getting more courageous every day.
I am fine with another dog or two but I do get really really excited and like to play - I really love my humans cuddles, But I would love another dog at the home to have snuggles with and as I love company.
As i learnt to walk on a lead while in care I used to get a little excited and scream when I see other dogs but that is doing heaps better most days ............... I am friendly and love to interact and play!
I need a home where there is someone home more often than not, or a home where people work from home or a retired person who wants to spend the time with me and I am able to spend as much time with my humans – I would happily be your shadow 24/7 – I like to dig holes so I need a spot to dig and I also like to chew shoes, so don't leave them about or I could eat a shoe or 2.
I don't like cats or birds so prefer a house without them.
I currently weigh 6.9kgs
I am child friendly, but can get excited and jump on you when I want to play so I like bigger kids, no toddlers.
I would love a family that would continue taking me for walks and working on my progress, I can get a bit overexcited and drag you along for the ride so if you can run with me we will be great exercise buddies.
I am toilet trained but if I can’t get outside I will have an accident in the house.
I like to sleep inside no ifs or buts the lounge is mine at night – I love to be able to have access outside during the day to sniff and explore and then inside when I’m ready for a nap. I also like to watch TV with the humans.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
