Hi there, I'm Bobi. Everyone I meet admires how handsome I am, (I have chunky paws and a winter mane), but that's the least interesting thing about me!

Nature
I'm really clever, affectionate and so loving, but I'm also sorta bossy and can be a little feisty when I show my irritation. I'm a complex character but I develop a really special bond with the person I trust.

I start each day with some happy head bumps with my Foster Mum and I tolerate her giving me my meds, which is still a surprise to her. In the evening, I relax into some calming pats and kisses, showing off my fluffy belly. I love sprawling out next to my person.

I do have a hurdle to overcome - I can feel scared when settling into a new home. I can be extra feisty at that time, but I'm just trying to feel in control and safe. It can take me a while to feel calm. I can be a mixture of curious, affectionate, standoffish and bossy with visitors. I hope the right person will understand that I might need my own separate space sometimes.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be very happy with just one special person, but I would be willing to take on two. I would be happiest being the only fur baby. I have a big enough personality to fill the space!

I don't have the patience to get along with children and I may not tolerate other pets. I find other cats quite agitating, though I have finally accepted the other two cats in my foster home (after a very slow introduction).

I'm very scared of dogs so a dog free home for me, paw-lease!

Likes / Dislikes
I love food but I need help watching my weight. I have no trouble figuring out food puzzles. I like to be around people, providing a mixture of loving and condescending stares or dozing off near them. I've recently taken to licking peoples feet. I might give you a little nibble if I'm bored and want to play or need something from you. When I'm feeling sleepy I love a gentle face massage - that's heaven!

My PURR-fect home would be in a peaceful home with someone who is patient, calm and gentle - this brings out the best in me. They must also enjoy and respect the character of a sassy cat! I know there's sassy cat lovers out there. My Foster Mum tells me it might take a long time to find my perfect home because of my unusual personality. She loves me very much. I'm sure I would charm you too!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Bobinsky currently has daily anti-anxiety medication to help manage problematic behaviour. Once settled in a new home, he can hopefully be weaned off this medication, and it can be used sporadically at stressful times in the future.

Bobinsky is FIV and FelV negative.
