About Jess
Meet Jess, a charming and petite Blue Heeler mix who, at nearly 9 years old, brings a gentle spirit and a lifetime of love to share. Jess is undeniably cute and small for her breed, with a beautiful demeanor that immediately endears her to anyone she meets.
Recently, Jess experienced the loss of her lifelong partner and best friend, which has left her yearning for constant companionship. She has lived with one owner all her life, making her especially devoted and somewhat prone to separation anxiety. Jess thrives when she's with her people and will need a home where someone is present most of the time, ideally an elderly couple looking for a serene and loving companion.
Jess's social skills are commendable; she gets along splendidly with other dogs, children, and even cats, she just needs a slow introduction, making her a perfect fit for a family setting. Despite her low energy needs, she enjoys the company and quiet activity, preferring the warmth and security of being by her owner's side.
She is an exceptionally good-looking Heeler with a relaxed nature when in her comfort zone. While she hasn't been raised with many rules or boundaries, her sweet temperament and eagerness to please mean that any necessary adjustments to household routines can be made easily.

Adoption details
We are not open to walk ins, appointments by booking only. All households members must be present before we can adopt an animal out.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

Tues: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Wed: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Thurs: 12.30pm-5:00pm
Fri: 12.30pm-3:30pm
Sat: Open Fortnightly
April 6th- 9am-12pm
April 20th- 9am-12pm
Sun: CLOSED
For serious enquires we are able to accommodate to outside our normal appointment hours. Please call us to arrange a time.
