About Talladega
Talladega is a super handsome, super social, extremely cuddly and well rounded little dude who is ready to find his people and take on the role as someones heart and soul dog!
A working breed mix, we can only assume Tally will grow to be a medium sized dog who will be active and adventurous. Naturally curious and very rarely fearful, Tally is a bit of a rockstar puppy, he is clever and enjoys training and is very engaged with his people. Currently living with dogs big and small, Tally is not shy to make friends but is also respectful of giving space when needed.
He'd make an ideal candidate for someone interested in doing some fun dog sports like dock diving, nose works or agility but equally so, would love a family home where he was part of the daily activities. Tally is currently learning about independence and that it's okay to be alone sometimes, his new family will need to continue to invest in this training so he is not worried when left on his lonesome.
Tally is truly a not to be missed puppy! He is well adjusted, fun, affectionate... he has it all basically and his new family will undoubtably be totally smitten with this absolute charmer of a boy!
MY IDEAL HOME: Talladega's ideal home is with an active family that can involve him in their daily lives, take him out adventuring and most importantly provide him with lots of lovin' as this guy is a cuddle king! Engaging in puppy school / similar at an early age and ongoing would greatly benefit this super smart boy, we want to see him grow to be the well rounded adult dog we know he can be. A house with a yard where he has access inside as he pleases and humans around more often than not is of the upmost importance.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: He's partly border collie so it's safe to say he runs at a fairly high speed but being a puppy he runs out of gas quickly. As he grows we believe he will be a medium to high energy dog that will require a good daily adventure, training and a run around to keep him happy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Tally hasn't met a whole lot of children but is generally a pretty easy going, sweet guy who would likely do well in a family home. He is very much in bitey puppy stage so management around children is important.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Tally is currently living in a busy multi dog household without issue, he gets on great with dogs big and small and would do well in a home with another canine pal ongoing. He hasn't met any cats in care but would likely make friends with a feline with a proper intro and some initial management.

For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
