About Seven - Located in Preston
Hello, there. My name is Seven, and I am an adventurous explorer in a tiny, shy kitty body. Though I may be small, I have big dreams of becoming a formidable house panther, ready to spring into action at the sight of a mouse toy or my sister, Audrey.
People are something I'm still getting used to, but there's one thing I know for sure: they give the most wonderful hugs and kisses on my tiny head. It makes my big motor purr start up and go on and on.
I love snuggling up with my sister, and having a home with her or another friendly cat would make me one happy kitty. But I'm also quite adaptable and could learn to be a big boy on my own.
I've discovered a particular fondness for ping pong balls. They're just the right size for me to bat around, perfect for burning off all my kitty energy. When I'm not chasing those, you can find me perched atop the cat tree, plotting my next parkour move.
So, if you're looking for a brave little panther in the making, I'm your guy. Let's embark on this grand adventure together.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
