About Luna & Neptune
Meet Luna & Neptune: A Dynamic Duo of Cuddles and Play! 🐱💕🐱
Luna is a people’s cat, always eager for a cuddle and ready to curl up close to you, whether it’s on your arms or legs. She’s a curious soul, keeping an eye on the world from her favorite windowsill, and she’s sure to charm you with her adorable antics, like carrying toys that are bigger than her!
Neptune, her brother, is a sweet boy with a heart as big as his playful spirit. He’s never far behind Luna, always up for a game or a snuggle session. This little gymnast will dazzle you with his acrobatic displays for a feather or string, and when it’s time to relax, he’ll be right there beside you—and Luna, of course!
Together, they make the perfect pair, getting along splendidly with other resident cats and looking for a forever home where they can share their boundless love. They promise double the fun and double the love.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this inseparable pair, and can provide an inside-only forever home, please get in touch. Luna and Neptune can’t wait to meet their new best friend—you! 💛💜🐱
Medical notes
No medical issues since birth. 2x vaccines, microchipped, desexed, dewormed. Seen too regularly by Selwood House Vet Hospital (medical record can be emailed on request).
Adoption details
Begin by reading our adoption FAQs on our website, here:
https://hazelbrookcatshelter.com.au
If you’d like to proceed, fill out an adoption application on our website. Tell us about yourself and the type of cat(s) you are looking for. Feel free to list specific cats that you are interested in, but it is not necessary. Our goal is to be a matchmaker and help you find the right cat for your family and lifestyle.
If we approve your application, will then arrange a video house interview with one of our adoption councillors. This goes for about 15 minutes.
We then arrange a time to meet the cat in person, either at our shelter or their home with their foster carer. Please note we do not move cats from their known environmnent for a meeting.
If all goes well, you can complete the adoption agreement form and pay the adoption fee.
Once the adoption fee has been received, you can take your cat home and begin your 2-week adoption trial.
During this trial, you may return the cat for any reason. Medical expenses will also be covered by our charity. 50% of the adoption fee can be returned if the adoption trial doesn’t work out. It is our requirement that all cats are vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and flea-and-worm protected prior to this trial, with all their paperwork handed over when collecting your cat.
We provide support as needed around introducing a new cat to your home.
