How can you not fall in love with that face ??? Our adorable loving little confident pup Joey is now seeking his forever family home
Joey is a little Heeler x who has a naturally loving and playful personality and will only be a med size boy at full growth
Joey is a smoochy loving little man that loves to be around his humans and will follow you everywhere if you let him!
He doesn’t mind playing with his toys but he much prefers getting pats and cuddles from his foster carers or playing with his older foster dog siblings big and small.
This big eared baby loves a bath, anything that involves spending time with his humans he just laps it up so bath time will not be an issue with this guy!
Joey loves attention, head scratches and smooches but being a puppy still, he will jump up on your leg at times usually when he first sees you, just out of pure excitement but once you start patting him and giving him all the love he calms down fairly quick, but he is just a baby so that’s normal behavior and he is still learning and requires training.
Joey can sit and shake, he’s a very quick little learner and is eager to learn.
Joey doesn’t have lots of experience walking on a lead but the time he has he was a good boy but will need more training in this area.
Joey is going to require exercise and stimulation due to the nature of his breed!
Joey spends most of his time as an outside doggo, he loves running around outside and running in and out of bushes and hiding and playing games with his foster siblings and foster carers, he’s a real little goofball and at night he will sleep inside in his crate and generally sleeps right through the night.
Joey, has been outside and shared his space with 2 cats, they live in an indoor/ outdoor enclosure, Joey was curious at the start but now he doesn’t even acknowledge that they are there, so Joey has seen and been around cats but he hasn’t been tested with them in person only through the enclosure they are in when they go outside.
As Joey is an outside dog most of the time, he isn’t house trained, but being the smart little boy he is he will learn quickly
On the occasions Joey has been inside he didn’t have an accident and waited at the door to be let out.
Joey LOVES brekky and dinner time and absolutely scoffs his food, this little growing boy has a big appetite at the moment
When Joey is left alone, which can sometimes be for a few hours during the day he hangs out in his big kennel or plays with his toys and is quite happy to entertain himself.

A home with a good size yard that has plenty of shade and shelter with secure fencing.
Kids in the home are fine as long as they are dog savvy.
A home that has the time and dedication to train and keep him well stimulated, exercised and socialized .
A home with another dog would be great and we would be seeking a female who is socialized and playful and can tolerate puppy behaviors
Cats in the home would be ok as has been exposed to resident ones that are in an enclosure
