About Merry
Meet Merry, a charming and jovial rabbit who truly personifies happiness. She is an enthusiastic ball of fluff that is always ready to explore and play around. She thrives best with plenty of open space to run, jump, and show off her playful bunny hops.
With her bright personality, Merry just loves spending quality time with her favorite hoomans. Be prepared for adorable companies during your tea times or while reading a book on the couch. She will never say no to a good social interaction and will be sure to make you smile with her antics.
Merry would be best suited to free roaming. She loves chilling on the bed as well as zooming around on the bed in glee. She equally likes hiding places (like under the bed or a bunny castle).
She adores gentle head pats and loves treat time. Her favourite treats are apple and banana. She also loves parsley and coriander.
Merry is healthier and happier when she gets to be the only pet in the house. Her ideal home does not include any other bunnies, cats, or dogs. She loves her independence and wants all the love and attention she rightfully deserves.
Joyfully, this little lady is fully litter trained. She enjoys keeping her home neat and clean, and is always on her best behaviour.
Merry would be an idea companion for someone in a unit or over 50's retirement village where a quiet pet is ideal, and she can be spoilt rotten! She is certainly going to be by your side, so even someone who works from home would be ideal.
If you're looking for an uplifting rabbit companion who will fill your home with happy “hops” and cheerful merriment, then Merry is the rabbit for you! She's ready to bring vibrant energy, spark, and playful entertainment to her new forever home. So, let’s make it a houseful of happiness, giggles and fun-filled moments with Merry!

Adoption details
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a non obligated "Adoption" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
We will not adopt any bunnies out unless they have met you. They can be sensitive little creatures and we need to make sure that both the bunny and hoomins will be happy with their new match.
Coming to the Refuge for an appointment is the best way to know what bunny is best for your family. We like as many of the family to come out on that day, so you can all sit with different buns to see who you connect with.
This is actually a vital part as it will determine if there are any family members that present with allergies! There is nothing more shattering to anyone than to take home an adored new pet only to have to return them because someone else in the house shows a severe allergy. Mild allergies can be managed but not severe ones!
Please note that there are only some bunnies suitable on their own. Most bunnies will need to be adopted with a companion.
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a "Bonding" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
Of course if you wish to find a companion for your bunny, bring your bun too. Your buns vaccination will need to be up to date & within the last 10 months.
Please note that rabbit bonding only happens at the rescue and we do not allow adopters to bond offsite.
