~Tuna~

Introducing Tuna; handsome, distinguished and not afraid to speak his mind! This beautiful boy is the perfect all round pet and would suit many different lifestyles and families.

His playful and curious nature may get him into a little trouble but he makes up for it with his adorable antics and warm snuggles. My favourite behaviour of his to watch is when he’s ‘making biscuits’ to get comfortable; unlike most cats Tuna really gets into it and you’ll see him kneading the dough with all four paws, it may look like he’s about to poop on your couch but don’t be alarmed he is just a very enthusiastic baker!

Tuna is first and foremost a social butterfly; he wants to be with people and always know what you’re doing. He will follow you around the house and call out if he can’t see you making him quite the engaging conversationalist. He enjoys the company of humans first but has proven to be very social and accepting of fellow felines and even well behaved canines, with proper introductions he could be a great companion for your current pets.

Tuna is definitely still in the prime of his life at age 4 and as such he likes to stay active; he would benefit from having a playmate or family member home regularly to keep him engaged. For his safety he is an indoor only pet but his desire for the outside is strong and it would be great if you could offer him an enclosed cat run or tethered experiences. Having said all that, one of the reasons we love him so much is because he is so adaptable; he just wants to be loved and well taken care of and he’ll show you his appreciation every day if you decide to take him home wherever that may be.
