Jitz

Poor Jitz has had a really hard time - lets explain what her past has been like -
Jitz arrived to us a year ago from a home who had over 50 cats in their care - All the surrenders have found successful homes however Jitz is having a terrible time...
Home number 1 - she was adopted but not given much time to settle in, we had a call 3 days into her adoption that she was hiding behind the washing machine and hissing - we tried really hard to explain that Jitz just might need some more time, but sadly maybe this just was not the right home..
Home number 2 - Jitz fell in love with another person, she was so happy and showing all her affection but sadly she did not cope with the family dog and she attacked the dog - we all know that cats can do this to dogs but this dog was terrified of her lol - so again just not the right home... We then decided she needs a home with no children, no cats and no dogs..
Home number 3 - the perfect people came along and Jitz was happy and so where they, she was with them for 6 months doing well but sadly they decided to adopt another cat and all hell broke loose... as we mentioned even though Jitz came from a multi cat household she really has decided to be the only cat living in her home - and she has a right to chose this really!
So as you can see we do not believe that any of these situations are the fault of Jitz.....

Personality wise Jitz is a beautiful, sweet girl that at 3 years of age is still very playful. Her favourite pastimes are chasing ping pong balls, doing zoomies through her tunnel and snoozing/ surveying her kingdom, from the top of her cat tower. Jitz loves her people and is so excited when you come home she will greet you at the door. She is very chatty and loves to debrief about her day over head pats and chin scratches.
We would really like someone to give this girl the opportunity she deserves - but you need to understand that she needs to live her life as the only pet.... you will find Jitz at our Longford Adoption Centre
