About Jet
What could be better than owning a pug – adopting Jet!!!!
Introducing the absolute gorgeous Jet
Jet is a 5 year old Pug
Now we asked Jet about the top things that we should advise you for his adoption profile
Of course he gave us of list of the top 14 things he believes you should know.
1. PERSONAL SPACE
Personal space is a thing of the past when you own a Pug. You will forever have a bathroom buddy, sleeping partner, and audience while cooking.
2. NAPPING
Pugs take napping to a whole new level. Soft snoring from Jet will become a soundtrack to your life.
3. PUG HAIR
don’t worry you get used to the Pug hair and besides that's what lint rollers are for.
4. PERSONALITY
Jet has it in spades!!!!! He like a lot of pugs will announce any new person to the home and he will be loud and proud and congratulate himself on a job well done.
5. LIFESTYLE
Shadow is as adaptable as they come. Apartment, house, out and about, it doesn't matter. All he wants is to be with you, doing what you’re doing or supervising on what you’re doing. (But a yard is always a good thing for him to have a run around in)
6. TIME LEFT ALONE
At the moment Jet is happy to be home alone for periods of time and will happily snooze his day away while your out or at work...... but hey come on if you are a home body or work from home he won't complain ………… Jet also really enjoys watching tv (he loves the kids channel)
7. OTHER DOGS
Jet has always lived with at least one other dog and loves to have a play and a run around
8. CATS
Jet is not great with cats - he likes to bark and tell them his opinion of the world.
9. KIDS
Jet has lived with a 10 year old boy and teenagers and has absolutely no issues with them - the more cuddles and snuggle time in front of the tv the better!
10. TRAINING
Jet is toilet trained and knows how to use a doggy door, however may have a small adjustment period of going to a new house.
Jet love food so easy to motivate him with treats
11. EXCERISE
While Jet was built for comfort and not speed he does enjoy a walk (or pug run) around the block (weather permitting cause you know they are pugs). He also loves a good play on the beach each morning. Jet loves a good around in the backyard doing zoomies and chasing toys (but don’t expect him to return them to you – that is the humans job!)
12. PEOPLE
Jet is fine with new people and once he really know you expect the pug kisses.
13. SLEEPING
Jet would never say no to sleeping on a bed with you, on the couch or on a dog bed – he does like to snuggle with another dog or a human, but he also has been crated trained and would sleep in his crate happily as well.
14. LOVE
Jet loves hard and that means you will always have a little best friends by your side
If Jet sound like a pug you would fall in love with please don’t hesitate and send through an adoption application.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
