About Leaping Leo
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This beautiful little fella is so incredibly gorgeous and loving it's not even fair. As soon as he arrives in his new home he will step out of his cat carrier, jump into your arms and start melting your heart. Leo absolutely loves people and wants nothing more than to smooch with his human.
He is also incredibly good with kids and surprisingly very protective. After arriving in his foster home he immediately bonded with the families young daughter and they have been inseparable ever since. He even stands watch while she's having a bath, just in case.
Leo is also adorably playful and, if you have the energy, he will happily zoom around your home and play with you for hours.
Leo was originally rescued from a pound / shelter in northern Victoria and intended to be a companion for a young man. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, Leo never bonded with his new human, so the gentleman decided to give him to his parents, who already had cats, in the hope that he would be happier.
Fortunately Leo settled very quickly in his new home and was loving the life with the older couple and their two cats, until the council came knocking at their door, insisting that the couple were not allowed to have more than 2 cats at their premises.
After a lengthy battle with the council they finally had no choice but to relent and surrender Leo into our care. Which is why he's now on the lookout for his new, and hopefully, forever home.
Leo is used to living with other cats and would do well in a multi-cat household but would also be happy as the sole feline on the premises.
He is very sweet, gentle and affectionate and absolutely love's people. He's always in the mood for a pat and a scratch, will sit on the couch or your bed with you and loves to be picked up and smooched. He has a very kind and gentle nature so would be well suited to almost any situation. If you're looking for an adorably fluffy ball of love to add to your household then this is the cat for you.
Leo is approximately 2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.
Located in Seville East with one of our amazing foster carers.
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with a shop front and multiple staff, it a is a very small, one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. All donations received and every cent from adoptions fees goes straight back to the cats in the form of food, litter, toys and vet bills. Meet and greets are by appointment only.
