About Chip & Elle
Elle (smooth) is a teen mum to daughter Chip (ruffle hair).
Elle turned one in February and Chip will turn one in July.
Elle is quite shy and will hide but loves foraging in hay! Chip is braver (and greedier) and believes she is an interior designer and will move things around in their cage.
Both girls are not very brave with food and mostly like: cos lettuce, carrot and the occasional chunk of cucumber. They both love apple and fresh grass.
They are very sweet and like to watch the British version of Would I Lie to You and their favourite show is Bluey.
Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.
