Meet the beautiful, goofy, and loving Jodee. Jodee came to the rescue as a staffy cross however she looks like she has Bull Arab in her and she has some of their endearing traits. She’s protective, incredibly loyal, and a food-loving bed hog—a true goofball who will fill your life with joy. At just 23 kilos, she’s the perfect medium size for family outings and loves to curl up beside you while you relax.

Here are some important things to know if you’d like Jodee to join your forever family:

- She will absolutely adore you and the ground you and your family walk on, so be ready to shower her with love in return for her lifetime.
- Jodee is great indoors and can be left alone without causing damage—just keep food out of reach.
- She’s toilet trained.
- While she’ll sleep in her own bed if necessary, she prefers snuggling with you.
- She may anxiously pull on the lead, but she’s eager to please and can be easily trained, becoming more comfortable as you continue to walk.
- Although she LOVES walks, she can be anxious and may cry and jump at the sight of other dogs. If she's taken for a long outing, she begins to adapt well and can visit cafes and meet other dogs without issues which demonstrates that with further training and exposure her confidence will increase therefore investing time to help her is crucial.
- Jodee enjoys the company of other dogs (she has been in a foster home with 3 other dogs); however, a slow introduction is essential. Her foster family is happy to facilitate this so that she can have a buddy to play with.
- She thrives best with someone who is home often or has another dog and is willing to take the time to introduce her to her new environments.
- Family is everything to her, and she would be delighted to share adventures with you and any dog savvy children.
- She still has playful puppy energy (a rope toy is a must!) but also enjoys relaxing by her foster dad’s desk while he works.
- Jodee currently lives with two teenagers and loves to play with them, adjusting her behavior to be gentle with her 85-year-old foster grandma and younger children.
- She has a big appetite and will happily devour anything left on the kitchen counter, including a surprising fondness for raw potatoes, and she loves to inspect your grocery bags as soon as you come home.
