About Tig SUA012572
Meet Tig, an absolute sweetheart and a delightful senior lady. Her years have graced her with a gentle charm, and all she seeks in life now is a warm lap and a full bowl of delightful meals. She has a calm, easy-going persona that is sure to win the hearts of those around her.
Tig's desires are simple. When it comes to comfort, she's more about snuggling on your lap than playing with toy mice or exploring high places. A seat by the window to watch the world pass by and a cozy corner for a cat nap are her idea of a purrfect day.
As a mature feline, she leads a quiet life. She's sociable without being demanding and loves short and sweet play sessions. Tig has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which means she must stay indoors to protect her delicate health. But this doesn't slow her down. She's perfectly content in an indoor setting and adapts easily to her environment.
Tig's golden years should be lived in comfort, and she deserves a home that can provide her with the love she needs. If a serene and affectionate companion cat sounds like the perfect fit for your home, consider bringing Tig into your life.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
