Scruffles is a fluffy bundle of orange cat energy with a heart of gold. Despite his tough past, he's incredibly loving and grateful for every bit of care he receives.

Sruffles is a food enthusiast and will show his appreciation by curling up next to you on the lounge, purring contentedly.

Sadly Scruffles had a rough start to life, facing the harsh realities of street living before being rescued. Likely abandoned, he was left to fend for himself, which led to him being beaten up and attacked by another cat.

Unfortunately, during his time on the streets, Scruffles contracted FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), a cat-specific virus. Despite this, Scruffles remains symptom-free, showing his resilience and strength.

FIV is not contagious to people and can only be transmitted cat-to-cat through deep bite wounds, mating or birth from an infected mother to her kittens. Scruffles' life expectancy is similar to that of uninfected cats and he can lead a long and fulfilling life.

Due to his FIV status, Scruffles can't live with another cat. However, he craves human companionship and affection. He needs a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. With the right person or family, Scruffles will flourish and bring endless joy.

Scruffles would thrive in a calm and loving environment where he can be the center of attention, with someone willing to provide him with the care and love he deserves. He would be fine with a single person or couple or s family with older children, as Scruffles does have orange cat energy and he loooves to play.

Despite the challenges Scruffles has faced, he remains a loving and affectionate cat who is ready to shower his new person or people with love.

Sruffles is a survivor with a lot of love to give, just waiting for the right person to give him the chance at the good life he deserves. He never asked to be dumped on the streets but he is asking for a second chance at a good life.
