About Cosmo STK012306
Get ready to fall in love with the delightful charm of Cosmo. A blend of timid, shy, and oh-so-sweet, Cosmo has a personality that is sure to tug on your heartstrings.
Cosmo is extremely gentle, and in the right environment, his affectionate side shines through. He might not be the type to seek out attention, but when he's offered a good head scratch, he's all yours. And while he has a bit of an introverted disposition, underneath that calm and reserved exterior is a loving guy waiting to share his affection.
His ideal human should be quiet and patient, someone who understands that trust takes time, and every small interaction is a step closer to a bond. Do you love peaceful evenings in, reading your favourite book or watching TV? Cosmo would be content to share the couch with you. He's not one for high leaps or treetop adventures; instead, Cosmo is happiest with all four paws on the ground.
Feed Cosmo and you'll find the quickest way to his heart. He's a creature of comfort, and he appreciates a good meal. He loves to have his own safe space to retreat to: a cozy room where he can feel safe and secure, a haven of his own for those moments when the world seems a bit too big.
Cosmo is better suited to a home without children or canines. His calm nature aligns with a less chaotic environment where he can enjoy relaxing days, basking in the sunlight of a peaceful home.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
