About Casey
Meet Casey, a charming and tiny Netherland Dwarf rabbit. Slightly reticent at first, Casey soon warms up to form a deep and enduring bond. Once this sweet bunny has gotten to know you, get ready for a loyal and constant companion who will always be by your side.
Casey thrives on companionship and enjoys human interaction, especially when it involves gentle strokes and pats on the head. Once you've earned Casey's trust, you'll be rewarded with fond companionship and a playful companion as Casey truly loves company.
When it comes to feeding, Casey cherishes the simple pleasures of life. This adorable critter is a fan of most veggies, munching on them with great delight. While he isn't a big fan of herbs, he certainly won't turn his nose up at a lovely juicy carrot or a crisp lettuce leaf.
Casey's ideal home would provide a calm, secure environment where he can explore freely, and where there's scope for plenty of safe outdoor hopping as well as comfy indoor stays. An attentive owner who can socialize with Casey, respect his initial quietness and treat him with loads of pats on the head will undoubtedly win his heart.
Whether you're already a rabbit-enthusiast or considering adopting your first bunny, Casey is sure to bring a whole lot of love to your life. He's looking forward to joining a new home and starting a beautiful bond with a loving family.

Adoption details
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a non obligated "Adoption" appointment where all your questions will be answered.
https://blueyalicebunnyrefuge.org.au/book-online/
We will not adopt any bunnies out unless they have met you. They can be sensitive little creatures and we need to make sure that both the bunny and hoomins will be happy with their new match.
Coming to the Refuge for an appointment is the best way to know what bunny is best for your family. We like as many of the family to come out on that day, so you can all sit with different buns to see who you connect with.
This is actually a vital part as it will determine if there are any family members that present with allergies! There is nothing more shattering to anyone than to take home an adored new pet only to have to return them because someone else in the house shows a severe allergy. Mild allergies can be managed but not severe ones!
Please note that there are only some bunnies suitable on their own. Most bunnies will need to be adopted with a companion.
To meet our bunnies you will need to make a "Bonding" appointment where all your questions will be answered.

Of course if you wish to find a companion for your bunny, bring your bun too. Your buns vaccination will need to be up to date & within the last 10 months.
Please note that rabbit bonding only happens at the rescue and we do not allow adopters to bond offsite.
