We are struggling to find the words to explain just how beautiful our Beau is. He is just such an adorable young pup who has melted the heart of everyone who has met him.
Like most young pups, Beau has a playful demeanor and loves to romp and clown around, making him a wonderfully entertaining companion. He has an undeniable love for water and will eagerly take himself swimming every time he ventured outdoors, often in the bird bath, but now more in the newly provided shell pool.
Beau seeks affection and enjoys cuddles and scratches, and is fostering a strong bond with his human foster family. He finds comfort and security in using a crate for sleeping at night and when left alone. Beau enters the crate willingly, especially when enticed with a treat.
His new family will need to make sure he attends training classes to make sure he continues to grow into a well mannered dog. Beau is highly food motivated which will make training sessions a breeze, and he is showing progress in learning commands, just about mastering "sit." He is undergoing toilet training and is showing steady progress.
Beau is currently in care with adult cats and small dogs and gets along fabulously with them all, making for a harmonious household. He would fit well into a new home with dog friendly pets.
Overall, Beau is a delightful and loving companion who brings joy to his foster family with his playful antics and affectionate nature. With continued training and care, he is sure to thrive in his forever home.
Our best guess is that Beau will be a medium, if not large sized dog.
If you think you can give beautful boy a happy forever home, please apply by filling out the form.
When meeting one of our animals in care, please remember that a lot of animals can take time to adjust to new people and environments no matter how friendly and loving they really are. We ask you to keep this in mind when meeting our animals at meet βnβ greets (and when you take them home) and not rule them out straight away just because they are not all over you at the first meeting. You could miss out on the most wonderful companion. π
Adoption details
We ask that before you apply for one of our animals, you take the time to think through all aspects of having a pet in your home to ensure it is the right thing for both your family and the animal, now and in the future. Please consider how you would approach changes in your home that may affect your pet and how dedicated you would be to keeping/helping your animal when faced with any issues that may arise in the future.
If you have done this and are interested in one of our animals, please fill in our adoption enquiry form - www.cognitoforms.com/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarra1/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarraIncAnimalEnquiry
Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in to see if it is the right match.
Before adoption, all of our animals are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested (where appropriate).
