About Cera
Hi friends! My name is Cera! I am a happy, loving and energetic young girl searching for a special family to call my own.
I currently live another dog and get along great with him. I was a little overwhelmed when I first came back into care, but I have settled in and we became friends.
I can be a bit cheeky and rough with smaller dogs, as I just love to play, so I am best suited to a dog of similar size to me (about 25kg). Bonus points if they are equally as active as me, so we can play and chase each other all day. I would do better in a home with another dog, just to assist with keeping my mind busy while humans are away at work.
I am an active and busy girl, and require an active home. In addition to going for a daily walk, which I absolutely love, I also need plenty of additional mental and physical stimulation.
I am food and toy orientated, so training me is quite easy and I have the brain power to learn plenty of more cool tricks! Speaking of toys, I am absolutely obsessed with playing catch. I could play with my toy all day, and although that acts as a good reward system for me, please remember it's up to you to tell me no more, otherwise I would never stop.
I like to play in my shell pool full of water and would enjoy going on adventures to the beach or camping. I have excellent recall.
I am great inside and outside and will be happy to rest inside after a big day of being busy. I have been non reactive to the cats and livestock in my current home, but would need constant supervision due to my love and desire to chase!
I have previously lived with a tiny human. At first I was quite jumpy around her as I was so excited, but I have now learned to be calm and gentle. Again - constant supervision is a must around any dog with children.
If you are looking for an active, fit and young dog, but don't want to go through that crazy puppy stage, then I may just be the girl for you.
