Hi, my name is Dusty and OMG am I handsome, just look at me! I even shock myself with how handsome I am!

Nature
I’ve been in foster care for a little while now and let me tell you this life is the bomb!! The Angels brought me under their wings after I ended up in the pound not snipped and chipped and no one came for me! 🥺

I am a beautiful affectionate boy with the most magnificent soft floofy coat.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live in foster care with a few cats at the moment and I definitely like them. I’m just a little unsure initially so slow intros are key for me.

There are also two big dogs I live with who I was a bit scared of to begin with but I’m kinda OK with them now.

There are no little humans in my foster home so maybe older kids would be OK.

Likes / Dislikes
I love love love pats and scratches, nothing is off limits! Head, ears, bum, belly… it’s all fair game for me!

I very much dislike the vacuum cleaner so if you need help with that I’m not your guy, LOL!

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet home, with patient humans who will give me time to settle in at my own pace. I’m a huge softie and will reward my humans with an abundance of love when they choose to love me.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to meet Dusty come and meet him at Petbarn Canning Vale adoption event this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Dusty’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination*, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

*Vaccinations are subject to availability due to a worldwide vaccine shortage. Our adoption team will notify you if the cat/kitten you apply to adopt has NOT been vaccinated.

Medical Notes: Dusty had Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.

Dusty has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Dusty will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
