About Rosie
Introducing Rosie, an adorable four-year-old dachshund with a bubbly personality that will fill your days with joy and laughter. With her endearing eyes and her charming personality, Rosie will quickly become your best friend and the perfect addition to your household.
Our happy-go-lucky Rosie has two loves - the great outdoors and lying by the fire cuddling with her humans. Whilst a bit shy at initial meeting, with a little encouragement, Rosie loves going for leash walks, taking in the scents of the world. She walks well on the lead and is very attentive to her handler.
Rosie carries stellar social skills, she loves small dogs and finds the same size companions to be delightful play dates. However, she can be a bit cautious around larger dogs, finding their size a bit intimidating. Her nurturing and well-behaved nature extends to our feline friends - while she might be slightly timid around cats, she manages with impeccable manners.
Behind that innocent face of Rosie's, lies a perceptive and astute companion. She finds solace in communicating through her barks, echoing her canine friends when they start, showing she is a team player and likes to be part of the pack.
At the end of the day, Rosie is a sweet, loyal girl who craves companionship and adoration from her human friends. She is the embodiment of joy and love that comes with space for her cozy bed and ample time for belly rubs. Our lovely Rosie eagerly awaits her new family to shower them with the pure, unwavering affection they deserve.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
