About Cleo
Name: Cleo
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: 22/10/2018
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
Location: PETstock Parafield
Hi! My name is Cleo and has been since I was a kitten, if you want to change my name that's fine too. It will take a bit of adjusting to understand a new name but I'll work it out.
I am a shy girl around new people, but once I've settled in your home and work out where everything is and know you're my human, you'll see me flourish and show my best version of myself.
I'm a playful and sweet girl with a lot of independence. I will meow at you when I'm hungry or want my favourite Dine tube treats.
I love to go in circles around your hand when trying to pat me - it is one of my funny quirks. Butt scratches are absolutely Number 1 in my books! More the merrier! I'll circle and circle until I flop and want belly rubs, and then dart away and come back 😂
I do wag my tail but it doesn't mean I'm agitated, I'm just super happy while purring away being patted! (I'm pretty special!)
I like kisses on my head and my cheeks and have my moments where I like to be held and cuddled and sometimes not, I'll be a little wriggly to let you know I want to be put back on the ground. But 80% of the time I like to be fussed over 🥰
The laser is the best invention in the world and love chasing it to no end!
I love to sleep throughout the day in a cat tower or on a couch with a cushion on it, dining chair or human bed 🥰
I like looking out from my cat run on the tallest cat tower watching the birds as it is my favourite pass time. If you're lucky, you may see me chattering to them. Watching out of windows is certainly a fascination to me, so you will see me on window ledges looking out or laying where the sun shines through enjoying the warmth. 🥰
I do love to be patted while purring away all curled up on your bed as it is the best place to be. ❤️
I'm quite a calm cat but do have zoomies from time to time 😺
If you have another kitty in the house, I will become their friend soon enough and we will both be zooming around in no time!
People describe me as: Loud Purrs, Funny, Cute, Quirky, Silly, Lovable.
How am I with dogs? I am okay with dogs
How am I with cats? I am okay with cats
How am I with kids? Calm children over 12 would be okay with me
My purrfect home is: Loafing on my humans bed and lots of food and attention! Indoors preferred but a cat run attached on the house via a window so I can come and go while still secured would be amazing!
Medical Note:
Please note that Cleo has a congenital foot deformity that does not impact her mobility or quality of life. She possesses three normal toes, an anomalous little toe, and cutaneous horns (an overproduction of keratin, the same protein that makes up our hairs and nails) on her paw. Veterinary professionals have advised against surgical intervention it does not cause Cleo any discomfort, and the procedure could potentially deform her paw pad. Regular monitoring and occasional trimming of the growths are recommended.
Cleo's adoption fee is $50 which includes desexing, microchipping, parasite prevention, and F3 vaccination.
