About Coco
Introducing Coco, a sweet Shih Tzu cross. Being just 1 year old, she's still discovering the world and brimming with curiosity at all the wonderful things to explore.
Coco has overcome a certain level of anxiousness since she came to us; a testament to her resilience and perseverance. Day by day, she becomes more confident, unveiling the plentiful amount of love she holds.
She's a bit of a stimulus barker but is otherwise quiet, promising a serene and calming presence for those evening cuddles on the couch. Coco enjoys her playtime, especially when there are toys involved. Who knows, she might become the next great tennis ball retriever!
Coco demonstrates good behavior while walking with a collar and leash, but she would benefit from a little more training in this area. She dreams of long walks in the park and loves exploring new environments whilst maintaining her respectful manners.
Coco has a friendly nature that extends beyond her own species. She interacts well with other dogs of her size and is exceptionally good around cats. A home with four-legged siblings would suit her perfectly.
Coco is ready to be your faithful companion, enchanting you with her inherent sweetness while you help her navigate her new life. Imagine the delightful journey you both will have together, filled with shared discoveries, unconditional love, and endless fun! Let's give Coco the beautiful life she deserves.
Medical notes
Vets detected Coco has a grade 1/6 heart murmur. Monitoring advised. No treatment required.
It was also noted that she has quite a significant underbite and missing all lower pre-molars. She had 4 x incisor extractions under GA
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
