About Lou Lou
Please allow us to introduce you to Lou Lou, a delightful Tibetan Spaniel with a playful personality. A young lady of only 9 months old, Lou Lou has shown her keenness to discover new environments, all while being an affectionate and friendly presence in your home.
Lou Lou, though being generally quiet, does tend to react to sudden stimuli with excited barking. Further training will also help her perfect her leash skills. Despite this, she is a fast learner and is showing excellent signs of progression on her daily walks. Lou Lou enjoys the company of dogs her own size and even has a charming and playful dynamic with cats, although she might try to boss them around a bit!
This playful pup is also crazy about toys! She could spend hours playing fetch or even a game of tug of war. She can start a bit shy new environments, but once Lou Lou warms up to her surroundings; she blossoms into an outgoing and playful pooch.
Ideally, Lou Lou's new family would be patient and understanding, willing to give her the time to settle in and come out of her shell. Once fully comfortable, you will have earned yourself a loyal, energetic, and playful companion in Lou Lou. She is the perfect addition to a loving and nurturing home, ready to share many happy memories with her new family. If a fun, loving, playful companion is what you're after, Lou Lou is the pooch for you!
Medical notes
Vets have noted Loulou has a significant underbite. She had a dental scale and clean with some extractions under GA. Vets also observed grade 1 bilateral, medial patella luxation which is to be monitored for lameness.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
