About Nunu
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don't want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Nunu sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue's life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Step right up and meet Nunu, a confident cat with a soft spot for human company. She's the epitome of a social butterfly: always gentle, playful, and eager for attention. When she isn't commanding the room with her positive energy, Nunu is usually found in her favorite spot, calmly observing the world around her.
Nunu warms up to strangers quickly. She is the kind of cat you would want on your side while you're at home. Playing time is her favorite, especially with stick toys, and apart from that, she enjoys chilling by herself. This sweet kitty is incredibly friendly and loves cuddling, although she prefers her paws firmly on the ground to being picked up.
She shows affection by purring, rolling over, and offering cute mews for attention. She's one to watch during her 'zoomie' time as she darts around with fuzz-tickling speed. The way she shows her belly and rubs against the floor during a play session is enough to melt hearts.
A typical day for Nunu involves staying indoors, eating, playing, and asking for snuggles and interaction. Due to her deafness, Nunu doesn't realize how loud her meows can be, which contributes to her vocal persona.
She is known for her friendly tickle of curiosity for other feline friends, and she is excellent at adjusting to both calm and active households with adults or children.
She's looking forward to finding a loving new family who will appreciate her adorable quirks and give her the attention she loves. If you're considering opening your home to a new pet, Nunu might be the one – she can't wait to meet you!
Medical notes
Nunu is deaf, and this does not affect her living life to fullest, but it can make her meows loud and off key.
She also prefers to have small meals throughout the day to avoid overeating.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
