Meet office admin assistant superstar, Chikuwa. Ready to rearrange your files, order more bikkies for the office and ensure you reach your daily steps with walkies after brekkie and during lunch break.

His absolute ideal home is someone working from home, who needs their feet kept warm during the day and ideally you sleep hot, so don’t require much blanket at night 😉 He is a large boy at 41kg but try as you might to convince him, he will never admit it, he still thinks he is a lap puppy.

Chikuwa enjoys a walk, gradually increasing the distance will ensure he keeps trim, because he does enjoy a snack and his meals, like all Labradors. He gets along with other dogs, but can be a little annoying to them, he is not the dog for a quiet, gentle doggy pal. Ideally, he would live near a doggy pal or a dog friendly area where he can meet up with like-minded, playful doggo’s on his daily walks. He would probably be too boisterous for a small animal, he even barks at the fish in his foster home at times, trying to get him to bust out of his tank and have a play.

This handsome lad is young, and can be a bit stubborn, he is looking for someone committed to being the leader he needs, showing him what you want, not letting him lead you. He knows sit, stay, go to bed but “no” is not really in his vocabulary. He has been allowed to have free reign and is ready for a family who will make decisions for him and show him how to be the best him he can be. He can be bouncy, so kids taller than him would be ok (8+) but he would be fine in an adult only home also. 5 minutes a day and this beautiful guy will become an absolute champion of obedience. Chikuwa is also toilet trained and has access inside and out all day in his foster home without issues.
