About Pixie
I am very excited to introduce you all to the most adorable little miss we call Pixie!!!
Pixie is by far one of the funniest and most enjoyable pups, I as a foster carer have ever had the pleasure of fostering! Pixie came into care with her 3 siblings, and from the get go she has been known as pixie the rocket dog. Pixie because she has the biggest most cutest ears we ever have seen and she is half the size of her siblings and Rocket because this girl is fast!!!!
Pixie has all the amazing characteristics that make the kelpie a popular choice. She is agile, she is intelligent, she is loyal, she is great with the kids and she wants to please.
Pixie is a character! Pixie is rarely still, except when its time for belly scratch’s or cuddles! She loves to be carried around by the kids, she enjoys playing tug a-war with the other dogs in care, she enjoys going for drives in the car and is hilarious when she is cutting zoomies around the house.
When you watch Pixie, you can see her brain constantly working, and is taking in all the information of her surroundings.
Pixie has begun crate training, and her toilet training is coming along, with the occasional accident inside. She is also working on sit.
Pixie requires a home, with a family who have a good understanding of working dogs and a family who understands and can provide her with the ongoing training and mental stimulation she requires. Pixie's drive to herd is strong, so this will need to be considered when deciding if Pixie is the right fit for you and your circumstances. Pixie loves kids and dogs and will make a great family dog to an active family, or potentially to a hobby farmer ready for their new side kick.
