About Sarrh Falko
TO APPLY FOR ADOPTION PLEASE SEND IN APPLICATION FORM AVAILABLE BELOW:

Meet our friendly and sociable pup, Sarrh! This lovable pooch is a joy to be around, especially when it comes to interacting with other dogs. Whether he’s out for a walk or at the dog park, Sarrh is always eager to make new furry friends. When meeting other dogs on a lead, Sarrh is friendly and gentle, preferring to sniff and greet them calmly. He’s also accustomed to car travel, showing no signs of anxiety or travel sickness, although he may need a little encouragement to get into the car.
He’s well-behaved and responsive to commands, so you can trust him to play nicely with others. Sarrh loves exploring the great outdoors!
While Sarrh hasn’t had much exposure to cats, he’s lived with one under supervision. However, the cat hasn’t taken a liking to him, so it’s best to be cautious about leaving them unsupervised together. Sarrh has been an outside dog to date but once in foster care we know he will soon be a house trained dog, as he is keen to please. .
Sarrh will thrive well in a household committed to ongoing training and boundary setting. Sarrh has been left to his own devices for long periods of time which has unfortunately led him to developing some habits – he can be a bit vocal, barking at passers-by, and he tends to chew on things when left alone in the yard. If you can give him the gift of your time and committed training, you will bring out his best behaviour. Sarrh would love a backyard that he can explore and play in. Enrichment games and toys will keep him mentally challenged and occupied.
Sarrh absolutely loves being handled and bathed, and he has a fondness for water.
If you’re looking for a loving and sociable companion, consider opening your heart to Sarrh. If you can commit to training, have time, patience and loads of love, Sarrh is sure to bring joy and warmth to your home!
Sarrh is not properly cat tested.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Please note that we do not take/make telephone calls prior to receiving an application.
Commonly asked questions and their answers are provided when you email us. We look forward to receiving your application.
