Meet June Bug, a sweet and loving dog with a heart of gold! June Bug is a delightful companion, excelling in key areas that make her a joy to be around. She walks beautifully on a loose lead, has fantastic recall, and is reliably crate and toilet trained.

June Bug's personality is kind and affectionate. She’s friendly with both dogs and children, making her a potentially wonderful addition to a family home with another dog. She can get overexcited resulting in jumping up, and will climb on you if not corrected, so is currently learning about space boundaries. June Bug sometimes struggles to read other dogs' social cues, potentially missing their warnings and boundaries. This means she'll need a family who can gently guide her in developing better manners.

While she's a sweetheart, June Bug needs a firm but kind hand to help her navigate the world. She can become overstimulated quickly, so consistent and patient training will be essential. She is also a little timid of men, although when approached with a calm and confident demeanour warms up quickly.

June Bug can be easily startled by new things, but she is responsive to positive reinforcement and confidence building. In her foster home, she has made significant progress, happily integrating with two Kelpies and enjoying daily outings. With continued patience and love, June Bug will blossom into a well-adjusted and loving member of your family.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, flea and worm treatment, puppy vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership) and sterilisation at 6 months at a approved vet clinic (see list below).

ADOPTION DETAILS
Adoption Fee: $500

Our adoption process: If you are approved you will get to speak to the carer before a meet-and-greet with you (and any dog already in your household); a yard/fence check and a 14 day trial period to ensure Junebug is the right fit for your home.

Adoption fee must be deposited electronically into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts. SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your pet's microchip once the trial period is completed.
