Just like his brother Havoc, don't be misled by Mayhem's name - these two are sweet and gentle boys, full of energy and ready to shower their love on a new family.

Mayhem and Havoc were discovered under a sprawling rosebush forest with their mother, Chaos. Rescued by Cat People of Melbourne, they are now ready to find their forever homes.

Mayhem is a sleek, pure black male kitten, resembling a miniature panther. He is a bit more outgoing than his brother. Affectionate, sweet-natured, and sociable, Mayhem connects with people very easily. He loves to look you in the eye and waggle his paws, enticing you to play with him. Always eager for interaction, Mayhem enjoys cuddling and is often closely followed by Havoc.

Havoc is the ringleader of their fly-catching brigade, and Mayhem is his loyal follower, helping to keep the house safe and sound. And at the end of the day, snuggling on the bed with his brother is where you will find him.

Cat People of Melbourne has a policy to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome to reduce the loneliness and destructive behaviour single kittens can often have, which leads to unhappy new owners and undesired returns. If the cat/kitten to be adopted is less than one year old, they must be adopted with a second cat/kitten unless you already have a friendly cat/kitten at home. We have discounts for two or more adoptions at the same time to help with this.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
