About Bluey
Bluey is an adorable pup whose charm and sweetness shine through despite her inability to hear all the compliments you'll surely give her (deafness). Bluey is a social butterfly who loves to play and is totally obsessed with playing ball. With a love for treats, Bluey is highly motivated to perform tasks, especially when lured with snacks.
Bluey walks beautifully on a lead but, like any puppy, will benefit from ongoing training to continue building her skill set and confidence. She is currently learning sign language and understands that a thumbs up means treats or praise are coming next. Although she may initially come across as shy when meeting new people, she quickly transforms into the excitable puppy we know and love.
As a somewhat shy but playful pup, Bluey would thrive in a family with older, pet savvy children who can match her energy and enthusiasm for play. Toys are her main motivator, and she will do anything for a game of fetch.
Bluey is learning to trust cats, so with a gentle introduction, she may be fine integrating into a home with feline friends. She can be unsure around rambunctious dogs, so if she is to live with another dog, she will need guidance and reassurance to build her canine social skills. Gentle walkies and play sessions with other dogs will help her gain confidence and improve her social interactions.
In summary, Bluey is the sweetest little angel pup who, despite her deafness, remains social, playful, and incredibly loving. Her obsession with playing ball, combined with her eagerness to learn and perform tasks for treats, makes her an ideal companion for an active and affectionate family. If you're looking for a playful, motivated, and affectionate pup to join your family, Bluey is the perfect choice.
