Hi there,

My name is Penelope and I am a sweet and affectionate young lady looking for my forever home. I can be a bit worried in new environments and can easily startle with loud noises and fast movements, but don't worry, I recover quickly and will look to my handlers for reassurance and guidance. I will need to take things slow when introduced to new people and places, as it can be a bit overwhelming for me at first.

I really love being indoors and being part of the family, so I hope to find a home where I can be included in all the fun. I recommend crate training for me, as it gives me a safe space to go to when I'm feeling overwhelmed. I absolutely love my food and enrichment toys like snuffle mats and Kongs, they keep me entertained and happy.

I am best suited to calm and respectful older children, so if you have kids, we should meet at the time of adoption to make sure we're a good fit. I must also meet any other dogs in the household at the time of adoption. I can be very tense and worried when meeting other dogs, so I would need a calm and respectful doggie friend and a slow, controlled introduction to make sure we get along well.

For my safety and comfort, it's best if I don't go to dog parks or off-leash areas. I'm looking for a loving and understanding family who will help me feel safe and loved. Could that be with you?
